The Canada Revenue Agency is pursuing Able Translations. See here a recent article on CBC about the agency that seems unable to pay its freelance translators and interpreters but still contracts them.
The company was once a "darling of its industry, with contracts to provide interpreters and translators to hospitals, insurance firms, Fortune 500 companies and every level of government in Canada."
We advice STIBC members and non-members to not accept job offers from the agency.
