Introduction to Medical Interpreting
Are you interested in working as an interpreter in health-care settings?
Are you working in health-care settings as an interpreter and would like to engage in professional development to better serve your community?
In this workshop, designed specifically for medical interpreting, we will discuss the British Columbia health-care system and how to interpret for different departments and specialties in the complex health-care sphere. Along the way, we will also explore how to study anatomy & Physiology and learn medical terminology. At the end of the session, we will explain the process of how to become a certified medical interpreter in Canada.
