This is an 8-week course (3 hours per week) on the basics of Canadian law and legal system for interpreters, which is designed to develop a better understanding of the concepts and the specialized legal terminology in these areas. The course will review the foundations of law, the court structure and legal system in Canada, criminal law offences and procedure, and civil law and procedure.
A great way to prepare for the CTTIC Court Interpreter examinations and to improve your knowledge of Canadian law and legal system.
