10:00 am to 11:00 am - Orientation for Written Components of Interpreting Exams (For Interpreters)
This session is only for candidates who registered (or will register) to write the written components of the Community, Court and Medical Interpreting exams. (Free session.)
11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Orientation for Translation Exams (For Translators)
This session is only for candidates who registered (or will register) for an upcoming Written Translation Exam. (Free session.)
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch Hour on your own.
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm - Specific Language Workshops for Translators
(This session is open to Translators, Interpreters and the Public.)
Participants will be grouped according to the language combinations of candidates who registered for the March 2019 CTTIC Translation Exams. Only the following language combinations are available at this workshop*:
Arabic to English Chinese to English Spanish to English
Farsi to English English to Chinese English to Vietnamese
Participants will work with a certified colleague/mentor on a sample text in their language combination. The sample text will be emailed to registered participants a few days before the workshop.
